BYHOURS

Rappi Travel y BYHOURS join forces

Rappi, the multi-vertical and multi-Latin platform operating in 9 countries, will start distributing hotels by the hour through Rappi Travel through its app after signing an agreement with the Spanish Travel Tech BYHOURS. In this way, Rappi incorporates micro-stays, the new trend in the hotel sector created in 2012 by BYHOURS.

BYHOURS & Rappi Travel another step forward in their commitment to innovation and personalization.

With this collaboration, Rappi users will have access to the BYHOURS product, whether for business trips, layovers, and delays at airports or for local leisure, enjoying a few hours in the best hotels in the main cities of Latin America. In the words of the CEO and founder of the Spanish company, Guillermo Gaspart, “our mission is to bring micro-stays to everyone so that they have greater flexibility and personalization when booking a hotel”. In 2022, the pay-per-use hotel industry will expand its presence with the opening of the U.S. market. Users then will be able to book hotels by the hour in major cities in Europe, Latin America, the United States and the Middle East, consolidating BYHOURS’ commitment to the “B2B” business model.

Guido Becher, Global Head of Rappi Travel, added: “We are pleased to have access to BYHOURS’ extensive product portfolio in the region and worldwide. It ratifies our interest in offering people more options to make their trips an experience with BYHOURS’ micro-stays offer.”

Currently, Rappi travel offers the option to purchase flights, hotel bookings and car rentals, with other benefits such as 5% cashback for purchases with the RappiCard and cancellation of reservations for up to 24 hours.

BYHOURS is the leading international platform for booking micro-stays in 3, 6 and 24-hour hotel packages. It is currently present in more than 25 countries and has 4,500 hotels where users can choose their check-in time 24 hours a day and pay only for the time they need.
